Laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR) happens when stomach acid travels all the way up into the throat and voice box, causing irritation, hoarseness, cough, lump sensation, sore throat, or that constant need to clear your throat. Did you know your sleeping position can make a big difference? 👉🏾Sleeping on your LEFT side is better than your right. That’s because of the way your stomach and esophagus are shaped and positioned. When you lie on your left side, the esophagus opening is positioned above th
