Active imagination is a technique developed by Carl Jung to access the unconscious through a conscious dialogue. To begin active imagination, start by clearing your mind and inviting an image, feeling, or inner figure to appear. Wait patiently until something arises. Then begin interacting with whatever appears by having a conversation. Ask questions and listen openly to the responses that bubble up from your unconscious. Make sure to record the dialogue in writing or audio so you can stay focus
