Ian Ali was well known personality on Trinidad and Tobago Television (TTT) in the ‘70s and ‘80s. He is best remembered by the general public as the television character Uncle Ian the children’s show RikkiTikki. His segment included art making and storytelling. Rikki Tikki was created by Jose Ramon Fortuné (Uncle Tavi) and later hosted by Germaine Mitchell from whom Ali inherited leadership years into the run.
