After trying a few methods, I prefer using aluminium foil rings and baking them in the oven, though you can also fry them on the griddle. Whichever method you use, you will get delicious breads, I am sure no one will notice the shape or color like

Homemade English Muffins Equipment: • Large skillet or griddle • 3-inch round cutter • Mixing bowl • Stand mixer with paddle attachment (optional but recommended) Ingredients: • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour (330g) • 2 1/4 teaspoons instant or fast-acting yeast (one package) • 1 teaspoon salt • 2 tablespoons sugar • 3/4 cup milk (180ml) • 1/2 cup water (120ml) • 3 tablespoons butter (42g), melted • 1 large egg, room temperature • Cornmeal or semolina, for dusting Instructions: Prepare the Dough:
