Here's a great pro tip on how to cut out your bottom plates before installing a door. Basically you could do it one of two ways. The first way is pre-cut the bottom plate and then you could cut it from the top. Or you could do it this way and leave out the jacks and then just use your circular. Saw to cut it and then install your Jack afterward which is what I'm doing here. What do you guys think of this trick? #HomeImprovement #construction #diy
