The European Resuscitation Council have released their updated Resuscitation Guidance 2025. Whilst there were no major changes to current practice in both First Aid and Advanced Resuscitation, the 2 finger CPR and Chest Thrust technique for INFANTS has been removed, replaced by the 2 Thumb encircling method. Anterior - Posterior (AP) defibrillation pad position in children under 25kg (roughly below 8 years old) is also recommended. More information to follow. #resuscitationguidance2025 #infantcp
