Serpiginous choroidopathy: Progression of disease over 5 years despite systemic immune suppression and intraocular steroid treatment. From 20/20 vision with a paracentral scotoma to loss of fixation with count fingers vision. The other eye had a similar course. This case demonstrates how chronic posterior uveitis can advance despite current treatments and how we need better, longer term therapies without severe side effects for these conditions.
