This is sinus rhythm with ventricular ectopy (PVCs) 👀 Ectopy means early beats coming from outside the SA node — not every PVC is an emergency. What to assess FIRST: Is the patient symptomatic? Chest pain, hypotension, dizziness, SOB? Is the ectopy frequent or new? Electrolytes, hypoxia, ischemia, stimulants? Most isolated PVCs in a stable patient = observe and correct the cause.
