Full width version is up on our youtube channel if you prefer! One of the most common questions I get about how to play mahjong is how to choose a line (or hand) on the NMJL card. Let’s get fast at picking a hand in mahjong! In this video, I’m doing my favorite practice for picking hands—a mock Charleston. Grab your tiles and your card and deal yourself 13 tiles, then practice passes and try to find a section then hand of the card that works for your tiles.
