Stroke recovery doesn’t stop after 1 year. Period. While the fastest recovery often takes place within the first 3-6 months after the stroke, it doesn’t stop. It just slows down. Our brains are amazing things and have to ability to adapt and change throughout our life. The key here is that you have to put in the work to see the progress. Remember use it or lose it.
